After an overnight on the Coast Starlight, we arrived in San Francisco on Friday, in preparation for our cruise on Saturday. We had most of the day to kill, so we decided to do one of the many stairway walks. We chose the one that starts in North Beach, goes up to Coit Tower, and then goes back down the other side. The whole walk was just over three miles, with hundreds of stairs.
After lunch we walked a bit more, a total of 4.5 miles. We had dinner at Albona, just around the corner from our hotel, the San Remo.
