Barcelona, Spain - November 6, 2017

Today I got to check an item off my bucket list.  We visited La Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudi's fabulous cathedral, still under construction.  Our tickets were for 10:00, so we needed to take a taxi rather than walk.  We toured the cathedral for about an hour.  It was crowded but not unpleasant.  And because nearly everything to look at was up, we hardly noticed the crowds.  The weather had started off sunny but rather chilly.  By the time we came out of the cathedral it had warmed up, so we walked back along Las Ramblas.  We had lunch of sandwiches made of coca bread, a thin flatbread.  Then we continued our walk back to the ship.  We sailed at 6:00.

Miles walked: 6
