Palma de Mallorca, Spain - November 7, 2017

We were expecting to be able to walk to town, but we docked several miles away, and the first mile or so was through the dock area, so we opted for a taxi.  It was sunny all day but rather chilly.  We really had just one thing to see, the cathedral.  It was spectacular.  We didn't go inside, but the gardens and ponds around it were lovely.  I was in need of a haircut, so we searched for a salon.  I found one that was very basic and had my hair cut for 6 Euros (just over $6). We then walked into the old town area.  We found a maze of very narrow winding streets.  It was all very charming.  After lunch (a pizza) in a plaza, we walked some more of the old town.  We finally made our way back to the central area of town and found a taxi to take us back.  We probably could have walked back, but as it was we put many miles on our feet.

Miles walked: 5
